So as we head home this evening from a night at the local drag strip i couldnt help to think about sharing some action of the diesels we love so very much when it comes to drag racing. With all the power and torque from a diesel racer drag, you cant not wonder how these huge trucks move so fast down the drag strip. Whether its the spooling of the turbo’s or the roasting of the big 31+ inch tires it’s no wonder that this isn’t a cheap sport to be playing around with so if you ain got the cheese then you cant play. With most diesel’s being worth around 50k off the lot to another 20 – 40 thousand into aftermarket accessories with things like air intakes, 5 inch dual exhaust’s, allison transmission’s, heavy duty rear gear’s and well one of the most important diesel truck accessories the chip aka the programmer. Personally my favorite of choice is the Bully Dog Triple GT Diesel along with the Air Fuel Docking Station Sensor with Pyrometer which we run on one of our many vehicles here at the mansion which is a 2002 lifted 7.3L Ford Excursion with 38×13.50’s Toyo Muds on 20″ BMF Novakane Wheels with an 8″ Dunbar/Deaver Springs running on straight recycled vegetable oil. YES i said recycled veggie oil, gotta love free gas my brotha’s. And with no loss in power and zero emissions into the ozone how can you not love the term GOIN GREEN!
